Annie Chu Physiotherapist
Annie is an experienced physiotherapist with a broad clinical background across both public hospital and private practice settings. She has worked extensively in neurological, musculoskeletal, and paediatric rehabilitation within a large Melbourne public hospital, providing care to patients with a wide range of conditions and rehabilitation needs.
She is qualified in Dry Needling through the Australian Physiotherapy Association and incorporates dry needling techniques into the management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions where appropriate.
Growing up in a family involved in Chinese Medicine, Annie developed an early appreciation for acupuncture and herbal medicine. This background has shaped her strong interest in integrating traditional philosophies with evidence-based Western healthcare to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
Annie is passionate about empowering patients through education, exercise rehabilitation, and self-management strategies. She takes an evidence-informed and personalised approach to treatment, working collaboratively with each individual to support their recovery, long-term health, and wellbeing.
Outside the clinic, Annie also works in neurological and falls rehabilitation within a large public hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys running, exploring new restaurants, camping, and hiking in nature.
